A Season of Remarkable Victories for Model UN
The Sage School’s Model UN Club has had an extraordinary run, showcasing their skills at two major events: The Middle School Model UN Conference (New England’s largest middle school conference) and the prestigious UNAGB December Invitational. These competitions highlighted Sage students’ hard work, dedication, and talent for diplomacy and global problem-solving.
The Middle School Model UN Conference
At this expansive event held at Northeastern University, over 600 students from across the region competed on five committees. Sage’s delegation of 27 students represented their countries with precision and passion, earning six major awards. Notably, three of the four awards in the UNFCCC III committee were earned by Sage students, demonstrating their expertise and preparation in tackling climate issues.

• Esha D. and Harper F.: Best Position Paper (Afghanistan, UNFCCC)
• Roman K. and Leo K.: Best Negotiator (South Korea, UNFCCC)
• Bobby W. and Charlie I.: Best Delegate (China, UNFCCC)
• Albert Y. and Adam M.: Best Public Speaker (Afghanistan, UNFCCC)
• Emma O. and Kavya R.: Best Position Paper (Colombia, UNESCO)
The success of these students qualified them to compete in the UNAGB December Invitational.
Triumph at UNAGB’s December Invitational
The above 12 Sage students advanced to the UNAGB Invitational at Northeastern University, an exclusive “winner’s circle” event featuring no-prep crisis committee challenges. Known for its rigor, this competition pushes participants to think on their feet. Sage students rose to the occasion, earning recognition in every committee room they competed in.
