Head of School Welcome
From The Head of School
Welcome! For over 35 years, The Sage School has been New England’s leader in gifted education, devoted to nurturing students who crave challenge, inspiration, and the company of like-minded peers in the pursuit of meaningful learning. Our dynamic faculty guides students through a timeless curriculum enriched with timely innovations, technology, and opportunities for collaboration with outside experts in various fields (many of whom come from our talented parent community).
What makes our students thrive in our robust environment is not simply excellence in academic and applied learning, but nourished growth in their social and emotional development through programs woven into their daily experiences. These components - academic, social, emotional - align as essential to each other in supporting students’ success, self-discovery, and joy of learning.
Moreover, our core lived values of Passion, Excellence, Respect, and Collaboration lead our students down daily pathways that ground their sense of purpose. These pillars animate both the culture of excellence and the culture of kindness that are distinctly Sage – and which I have experienced ever since my first visit to campus.
In all, our program, values, and culture blend into a full PreK-8 arc of learning and growth that leads our students to exceptional preparation for the strongest secondary schools in New England and beyond. Sage’s secondary placement record speaks for itself. With their Sage foundation, our graduates go on to thrive in their high schools and colleges. Above all, we are most proud of who our students are – individually and as a community – and the young people they are becoming as life-long learners, curious critical thinkers, and global citizens who seek to create positive impact.
I invite you to explore who we are. Once you see and sense the people who make the place, you will understand Sage’s very special, transformative value for our students – a value we would love to share with you. Come spend some time with us on campus.
