Caroline Lyons
Caroline Lyons
Performing Arts Teacher
Caroline is excited to bring her passion for the performing arts to The Sage School. With over a decade of experience as a professional actor in New York City theater, film, and television, she discovered a deep love for teaching while working in after-school programs. Alongside her career in the arts, she also worked as a postpartum doula, supporting families during transformative moments.
Caroline pursued her graduate studies at Mary Baldwin University’s Shakespeare and Performance program, where she was able to merge her love for performance with her commitment to education. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in trauma-informed practices, and she is dedicated to creating a space where students can grow socially and emotionally while collaborating to create meaningful theater. Ask her which Shakespeare play is her favorite, and she’ll find it hard to choose!
