Celebrating Sage Students’ Success in the Noetic Learning Math Contest

We are proud to celebrate our students’ outstanding performance in the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC), a prestigious semiannual competition designed to strengthen problem-solving skills, spark curiosity, and inspire a love of mathematics.

Each year, the NLMC brings together tens of thousands of students from schools across the country, creating a highly competitive and academically rigorous experience. Sage students once again rose to the challenge, demonstrating focus, perseverance, and a deep engagement with mathematical thinking.

This year, 10 Sage students earned placement on the National Honor Roll. In addition, 49 students received Honorable Mentions, recognizing their strong performance in a challenging field. In total, 59 Sage students were nationally recognized for their work—an impressive reflection of both individual effort and the strength of Sage’s math program.

As Co-Chair of the Mathematics & Science Department, Mr. Eggli often likes to say that math is Sage’s best sport—and results like these make that hard to argue. Sage students consistently approach math not just as a subject, but as a space for strategy, creativity, and growth, benefiting everyone who participates, not only those who receive formal recognition.

While not all recognized students could fit into a single photo, we are incredibly proud of every student who took part in the contest and embraced the challenge.

We congratulate all of our NLMC participants and look forward to seeing our students continue to grow and shine in future competitions.
