Celebrating Sage Students’ Success in the Noetic Learning Math Contest
We are thrilled to announce that our students achieved remarkable success in the Fall 2024 Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC)! This prestigious semiannual competition is designed to develop students’ problem-solving skills, encourage their interest in mathematics, and inspire them to excel in the subject.
In the Fall 2024 contest, a total of 31,281 students from 577 schools across 42 states participated, making it a highly competitive event. Despite the challenge, Sage students rose to the occasion, demonstrating their strong mathematical abilities and dedication.
We are incredibly proud to share that 14 Sage students earned a spot on the National Honor Roll, a recognition awarded to the top 10% of participants nationwide. Additionally, 49 students received Honorable Mentions for their impressive performances.
Reflecting on the competition, Mr. Eggli, Co-Chair of the Mathematics & Science Department, shared:
“It’s inspiring that in a contest that already draws a select crowd of strong math students, so many Sage students demonstrated exceptional talent. And, of course, everyone who participated benefited from the challenge not just the sixty-three Sagers who were specifically recognized. I’m really looking forward to seeing students’ performance when we host the Spring NMLC this April.”
Our National Honor Roll winners are pictured here, though we couldn’t fit all 63 recognized students in one photo.
We congratulate all of our participants and look forward to another outstanding showing in the upcoming Spring 2025 contest!
