Diversity, equity, and inclusion are all ideals that many independent schools around the nation have embraced as the pillars to a vibrant and successful learning community.
We at The Sage School acknowledge and understand that in order for gifted learners to be happy and successful, they need to feel supported before they are comfortable to take risks and pursue excellence.
Lance Sun, Sage’s Coordinator of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CDEI), supports our faculty and staff by leading trainings and providing resources needed to successfully prepare our diverse learning community for the evolving global sociopolitical climate. Most importantly, Lance provides families with access and accommodations needed to participate and engage in all community events.
We are proud of our naturally diverse community of students and their families, as well as the rich, cultural learning environment it creates. In fact, Sage celebrates together each year at Culture and Heritage Night, one of our most-treasured events during which the community shares international dishes and enjoys student-driven performances.
