Performing Arts Teacher
Liz has been teaching Educational Theatre for nearly ten years, both inside and outside the classroom. She earned degrees in Educational Theatre and English Education from NYU. Liz created a Drama Club where students wrote and performed their own shows, celebrated International Night, and staged abridged Shakespeare plays. After moving to Rhode Island, she worked at K-4 charter schools as a theatre enrichment teacher, developing performances for all ages and fundraising in the community. Outside the classroom, Liz enjoys performing and directing. Recently, she directed “Little Shop of Horrors” and played Chris Hargensen in “Carrie the Musical.” At home, she enjoys reading fantasy books, painting, and watching Forensic Files with her husband and two cats, Pierogi and Rigatoni.
