As the leader in gifted education in New England, The Sage School is committed to providing an academic program rich in content, offering challenge, and fostering discovery. To do so, we are committed to always improving the resources available to students and the space in which they learn.
The Sage School is currently in the process of creating a Master Campus Plan, which will identify a variety of projects that are essential to our long-term strategic goals. As a result of this process, The Sage School may initiate a capital campaign to raise a certain amount of money for these specific projects.
If you or your company are interested in partnering with The Sage School on an innovative capital improvement for our gifted students, contact our Advancement Office at (508) 543-9619.
This past year, the Sage community raised funds for state-of-the-art equipment and materials for the Sage Makerspace – a dedicated workshop and creation laboratory used by students in Grades K to 8. Filled with studios for digital creation, woodworking, laser cutting, 3-D printing, design, and more, teachers and students are eager to utilize this space for lessons and workshops. Responding to this demand in an effort to provide greater accessibility, for not only Sage students but for afterschool programming and community partners, Sage is working with Big Bend Studio Architects in Arlington, MA, on plans for a much larger, permanent makerspace. This will become a true destination for our young creators and tinkerers, giving them the tools and hands-on experience necessary for 21st century jobs of the future.
This project is in its very early stages. Sage welcomes those individual or corporate donors and foundations who are looking to create amazing learning opportunities for children both at Sage and the greater Foxborough area as we want to share STEM/STEAM exploration here on our campus. Naming opportunities will be available.
The Windsor Wing is a 10,500 square foot addition to Sage that is the current home to our fine and performing arts classroom and full size gymnasium. The new space was dedicated in honor of Dr. Katherine Windsor, Head of School at Sage from 1998 to 2008, (now the current Head at Miss Porter’s School in Connecticut) who led Sage through their formative years.
This campaign purchased the building and land from the Town of Foxborough, from whom Sage rented its space for nearly 15 years. This monumental effort was a major milestone for The Sage School, solidifying our home and proudly establishing a top-tier independent school for gifted education in southeastern Massachusetts.
