Shelby Manuels is thrilled to be joining The Sage School community as a Grade 1 Teacher in the fall of 2018. Throughout the last 25 years, Shelby has dedicated her life to teaching children from preschool through Grade 8 in all subject areas. Most recently, she has worked in the Northborough school system coordinating instruction with special education and general education teachers. She has also run her own in-home day care center, served as both a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader, taught Sunday School, coached cheerleading, and raised four wonderful children. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Worcester State University and an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Fitchburg State University. Shelby focuses on creating a learning environment that will meet the needs of all students in order for them to learn to their highest potential. In her free time, Shelby is a crafter – knitting, crocheting, and quilting. In addition, she loves all forms of dancing.
