JoAnna Shields
Kindergarten Teacher and Science Department Chair
JoAnna Shields joined Sage in the summer of 2014 and currently teaches Kindergarten in addition to serving as the Science Department Chair. She is a native New Yorker who came to the New England area in 2001. Since that time, she has worked and lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and now resides in Barrington, Rhode Island with her two sons. When living in New Hampshire, she was an elementary teacher at a private school for gifted children, and with other members of that community, helped establish a charter school with the same mission – to inspire young minds to reach their potential. JoAnna was very excited to find The Sage School and is honored to be a part of this amazing community.
