Kara Alderman is a native of Massachusetts having grown up west of Foxborough in Sutton, MA. She graduated Cum Laude from Roger Williams University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. Kara spent four years as a student teacher and was granted STEAM certification in 2017 after participating in a year-long, application-based STEAM student-teaching experience and implementing STEAM-related activities in the classroom. Kara is skilled in creating innovative lesson plans that are technology-based and also engaging for students. She was also an active member of the Future Teachers of America club on campus. Most recently, Kara has been an event coordinator at The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter where she helped coordinate events that raised money towards finding a cure for ALS. Kara has a passion for creating DIY projects, dancing, going to Cape Cod with her family, and any and all things Disney!
