Lisa Downs joined The Sage School staff in 2017. She grew up in Foxborough, and she and her husband, Jeff, chose to remain within the Foxboro community to raise their three sons. Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and certification in Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Upon graduation, she worked as a teacher at the New England Center for Autism for several years before leaving the workforce to raise a family. During the time spent at home with her children, she volunteered as the Director for the Foxboro Food Pantry and Foxboro Discretionary Fund, organizations that she continues to be highly involved with. Upon returning to work several years ago, she was hired as the Director of Operations for Behn Basketball Camp and also as the Girls Varsity basketball coach at Foxboro High School. She is thrilled at the opportunity to now work at The Sage School where she is directly involved with exceptional students and faculty at a school that cares so much about volunteerism.
