Lisa Troy attended Dickinson College, where she earned a B.A. in Policy and Management Studies and Environmental Studies, and the University of Montana, where she earned a M.S. in Resource Conservation.  She has worked with middle school students since 2003: four years as a dorm parent and tutor and ten years as a science teacher.  She started teaching at Sage in 2011. Lisa teaches sixth and seventh grade science and is a sixth grade advisor. She also leads the sustainability initiative at Sage. Lisa loves teaching science at Sage and engaging her students in hands-on, inquiry based activities.  She loves the curiosity and passion the students bring to the classroom.  Outside of Sage, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, environmental issues, applying the scientific method to cooking and gardening, and her amazing boxer dog.
