Co-Coordinator of Auxiliary Programs
Manisha Jain has been teaching for the past twenty years. She was born and grew up in India where she received a bachelor’s degree in Child Development followed by a bachelor’s degree in Education from Delhi University. Manisha has taken graduate level courses at Lesley University and keeps herself abreast of current best practices in Gifted Education and Elementary Education. She is a world traveler, and an avid chess and sudoku player.
Manisha taught kindergarten at The Sage School for 12 years, and Grade 2 math for four years. She came to Sage looking for a school that would be the right fit for her daughters. Not only did her daughters find a second home at Sage, Manisha found a community that echoed her sentiments pertaining to teaching and learning. She is fascinated by the immense potential of her students and looks forward to further engaging their minds, in intellectual as well as creative pursuits.
Manisha is now Co-Coordinator of Auxiliary Programs and helped lead our SEVIS international student initiative. Manisha finds these responsibilities extremely rewarding as they allow her to connect with students across divisions, and organize programs in congruence with the mission of the school.
