We are excited to announce we will now be offering an ON-CAMPUS option for our Exploration campers (students entering Pre-K and Kindergarten)!
Summer Sage (June 29-July 31) falls under the umbrella outlined in Phase 2 of the state’s coronavirus reopening plan. Therefore, Summer Sage Exploration will now be offered as a hybrid format. Depending on personal preferences, students may join us on campus or virtually for Weeks 1, 3, 4, and 5 of Summer Sage Exploration. Whether participating virtually or in person, Exploration campers will receive the same exceptional curriculum and academic continuity to spark curiosity and inspire discovery. All students registered for a course will be given a complete supply of required materials which will allow them to participate in course activities, crafts, experiments and more!
Safety is our top priority and we are dedicated to maintaining a fun and safe environment to protect the health and well-being of our students, staff and community. We will be adhering to the established protocols in regard to social/physical distancing, personal protective equipment (PPE), and cleaning/disinfecting classrooms. The CDC encourages outdoor activities as much as possible and as a result, each Exploration classroom will have their own tent to utilize for outdoor space. In addition, it is recommended that summer camp groups be restricted to 12 individuals with a maximum of 10 children; we will be limiting our classroom enrollment to 8 students (plus additional students attending virtually).
Summer Sage Innovation (for students entering Grades 1-4) and Academy (for students entering Grades 5-8) camps will remain completely virtual this summer. Our youngest campers are building on foundational social and emotional, executive functioning, and academic skills. As we work towards fully reopening as a school, welcoming our youngest students in the building is an important first step.
