Sage Delegates Stand Out at New England’s Largest Middle School Model UN Conference
The Sage School’s Model UN team had an outstanding showing at this weekend’s UNAGB Middle School MUN Conference held at Northeastern University. With more than 800 students from across New England in attendance, it was the largest conference of its kind to date — and Sage students rose to the occasion.
Nineteen Sage delegates participated, including eleven students who are brand-new to Model UN. Representing five different committees, our students tackled complex global issues, ranging from access to housing to women in STEM to conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Their preparation, creativity, and collaborative spirit were evident throughout the day.
We are thrilled to share that six Sage students earned awards for their exceptional work:
- Best Negotiator Award: Aya B. and Raven R.
- Best Position Paper Award: Quincy S. and Aiden W.
- Best Delegate Award: Charlie I. and Calvin M.
These award recipients have also been invited to participate in the December Invitational MUN Conference at Northeastern University on December 6, a recognition reserved for top-performing delegates.
