The Sage School held its second annual 5K on Saturday, May 4 with resounding success! The race registered over 130 runners and walkers with Sage parent, Jeremie LeClair of Foxboro taking first place for the second year in a row. Gifts were awarded to each age-group winner and thanks to a number of sponsors, there were a considerable amount of raffle prizes to be won.
Children six years and younger participated in a fun run before the 5K, with kindergarteners, Aaliyah G., and Julius C., taking home the first place prize. Eclectic Karate of Easton held drills and exercises before the race and Mastiff Ping Pong of Dedham providing table tennis for attendees.
Race Director Mirna Zelic said, “We are so thankful to the local community for supporting this event. The volunteers, runners and walkers, all the generous sponsors, and those that made in-kind donations helped make this race a fantastic success! I’m already looking forward to next year’s race!”
