Susan Siegel joined the Sage community in August of 2013. She received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and has completed numerous graduate courses at Northeastern and Boston University. She has an extensive background as a Cardiovascular Nurse practicing at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston where she held the position of Clinical Advisor. Susan has published articles in professional nursing journals. Considered an expert in her field, she worked as a Medical Malpractice Consultant as well as a Nursing Consultant for hospital processes and procedures for a global consulting firm. Susan spends a lot of time with her husband and kids traveling for their many sporting events. She loves animals, kayaking, hiking and contemporary art. She volunteers with her great dane, a registered therapy dog, visiting adults and children who benefit from the stress relief of animal interaction. Her philosophy is that happiness is the foundation of good health!
